After nearly two years, we've welcomed a beautiful, joyful son into our lives. The HAWK can proudly say that he is the big brother to a precious little brother. This blog chronicles the process, travel and life at home with a boy born in China and made a son in America.

Hi Mom, It's Hunter. I just wanted to know if I could go to flag football instead of chess club on Thursdays because my friends are playing flag football. I need to sign up this week. Thank you, Hunter.
What a wonderful smile! Jack is so handsome when he is smiling! I am so glad you were able to visit his village and receive the wonderful gift of a glimpse of his life in China and possibly foster parents too. A village who loved your son. Oh what we would have given to have met Kole's foster family and seen the foster village.

Shannon,
It was a good experience as we look back on it. I can tell you it was very stressful at the time, but I am definitely glad to have the story. I have plenty of questions I would have liked to have asked his foster parents! Now that your son is talking , does he tell you anything about his time in China?
