Once we got back to the hotel, Mandy took Karyn and I for a Chinese massage. It was a funny experience, certainly not relaxing. The massage flat rate was 68 RMB (less than $10), however for a clean sheet it was an additional 5 RMB. We were also told we could get a shirt and shorts for another 5 RMB to wear during the massage. We elected to get that as well. I went into a small bathroom down the hall to change and Karyn stayed in the room to change. After I switched shirts, I realized changing pants would be challenging because it was not a "western" bathroom, aka hole in the floor. When I went back to the massage room Karyn had switched her pants. Mandy looked at both of us very strangely. Apparently we were supposed to put the shirt and shorts on over our clothes. OOOPS!
The massage itself was a series of pokes and tugs (and bizzare contortions for me). Since Karyn and I were in the same room I could hear that her massage sounded like she was getting beaten up. Her massage therapist was doing a pounding version of massage while mine thought she would test how limber I was. At one point I really thought my foot would touch the back of my head. Once the massage was over and the ladies left, Karyn and I sat up and just cracked up. It was too bizzare, but worth the experience for sure.
The most important thing about today was getting Jack's visa. It was a relatively simple process, which had been built up more than necessary. But, we have all the paperwork in hand to flight home tomorrow night. We are so ready to be home!
[SPECIAL NOTE TO HUNTER: We can't wait to see you at the airport on Sunday. It has been so hard to be away from you for so long. I just want to hug you and never let go!]

We'll need to find a couple of hours to get to the spa soon so you don't develop an aversion to massage! It sounds like quite an experience. As far as hugging Hunter and never letting go, I think the holding on will be mutual. It is true that each of your sons has now had two weeks of extra special attention and will have to make a shift in having needs met. I am confident that you and Craig are up to managing that and you will certainly have love, support and extra hands available from family as needed. We can't wait to see you, hug you and meet Jack.
Lots of love, Mummy
We were just talking about that tonight - how much love Hunter was getting from you and Daddy. We're grateful for the time you have given him. We didn't have to worry about him knowing he was with you.
See you soon,
Caroline
