Jack's first English word that we can clearly understand is "airplane". He and Daddy stood in the skybridge to the hotel to watch the airplanes go by the windows. It was very convenient to stay in a Hilton connected to the airport. Tomorrow a Shrine volunteer will pick us up and take us to the hospital.
Auntie Chris (who met Jack last week on her visit to Florida) and her daughter Corinne met us at the hotel for a quick dinner at a pub downstairs. Corinne is the godmother to The HAWK and my cousin. We had a surprisingly tasty dinner and enjoyed catching up. Corinne looked different to us...she donated her hair to Locks for Love for a second time.
We want to thank everyone who is giving us such awesome support. We feel so loved!

Dear Caroline and Craig,
We are delighed that you had such a positive experience at Shriners Hospital. Ater spending so much time at Children's Hospital with Tyler's surgeries, we know how vital it is for you to feel comfortable with the doctor and staff. You must be anxious to get the first of the surgeries done and May 9 will be here before you know it. We want to be there to support you before, during, and/or after the surgery, whatever way you feel would be most helpful for you. Having company at the hospital made it easier for us. We'll talk to you soon to see how we can be there for you. Lots of love, Aunt Carol, Uncle Eddie, and Tyler
We probably can't even imagine what we will need once we are there. Visiting hours are around the clock, but only one of us can stay the night.
We will need plenty of support from our family. Knowning our family was so close by was a big reason we felt comfortable chosing Shriners in Boston.
Thank you for everything.
Caroline
