"It's a Tubby or Else!"

I think reality may have set in for Jack yesterday. He wasn't quite the same during the day after the shoe incident. He cried repeatedly during the day all surrounding the same issue. After he goes to the bathroom he wants to take a bath. Yesterday the first time he pointed to the tub after he went to the bathroom Craig put him in the tub. He played happily for about 30 minutes. Ever since then its been his expectation to go back in. He has a little fit when we don't put him in. The crying only lasts about five minutes but its hard to console him.

Its very clear he was being taught to complete take care of himself. In the tub he was washing his body including his tiny feet. When he finished he rung out the wash cloth and hung it up. He also eats with a fork better than any American ten year old.

We have high hopes for today. We are taking a short trip by van to an area called the Green Mountains. He's enjoyed the van rides we've had so far so I hope this goes well.

Hi Mom and Dad and Jack

Grampie and I decided to make a Hunter Blog so that you can see what I am doing.

Grampie says type

I hope that your unique cultural differences blend well as Jack adjusts. We are with you every step of the way.

Things will be kind of up and down for a while. He has a lot to adjust to as does your family.

Keep being suppportive of him but also let him know what is expected.

Jack is very adorable!

There are bound to be some rough spots. These past couple of days must be so different for all three of you. The blog is great for us...makes us a part of the beginning of his relationship with you. Hunter is wonderful. Tonight we all went to dinner at El Chico. So far he seems very relaxed and having fun. Love to all

Hi there. I've been watching your blog and can't be happier for all of you. We are planning to adopt a cleft boy from China and I gravitate to anything about either... Jack seems to be doing great! I've read so many "gotcha week" blogs where the kids ring out the washcloth and hang it up. How adorable!

Good luck with everything. My thoughts are with you all!
