This morning I received a call from our SW to talk about travel specifics. She prefaced the call by telling us that we had not received a TA. She wanted to know how we will handle flying into Guangzhou instead of Hong Kong (which we think we will do to use our frequent flyer miles to fly business class). She suggested we stay over night in Guangzhou then fly out to Naning. The staff in Hong Kong could get us a plane ticket to Naning and leave it at the hotel for us.
I was excited by this level of pre-planning, but confused me. To my surprise, I received a second call today saying that the TA had arrived. Now, I am feeling completely overwhelmed. It seems silly that I can be overwhelmed even though we've wanted this so long. We've been logged in for a year. We have had time to adjust, but I think out of self protection you guard your emotions.
Today, I am thrilled, anxious, tired and happy! Enjoy this picture of Jack, we can't wait to hold him ourselves.
