Meeting Cousin Michael
My cousin Michael brought my suitcase into the city after we were discharged from the hospital. I had left it with my Auntie Chris because I thought I would return to her house. Shriners has a policy of allowing only one parent to stay over night, but there is a "24-hour visitation" policy. I stayed with Jack the night of his surgery. I couldn't have imagined leaving him.
