Discharged!

This morning Dr. Lewis told us he was so impressed with Jack's recovery that we could go home anytime. This is a picture of us leaving the hospital. It turns out Jack has a bacteria in his nose that isn't harmful to him or others, but could cause an infection in the burn kids on the ICU floor. So on our way out we had to mask up. It was like being part of Michael Jackson's family.

So we are heading home tomorrow morning. It's such a testament to Jack's resilience and fighting spirit that we heading home. Even though yesterday was rough for Craig and I, we understand how well Jack did. Its hard to believe I am able to blog about a discharge within 24 hours of his surgery. We are just too luck.
